After graduating, she worked with her dad learning the ins and outs of the jewellery industry, including repairs, manufacturing and eventually design.
Her focus is mainly on designing personal pieces for clients, as the lead engagement ring designer and specialist in the shop, as well as acting as the buyer and creating her own lifestyle pieces and collections that make high end jewellery easy to wear and versatile.
Her pieces have been featured across the media, from Cosmo and Slice TV to magazines such as Elegant Bride, Dolce Magazine, Jewellery Business Magazine and Notable.ca
Melissa married her best friend and business-partner, Billy Halpern – who works as a creative director in the family business. Together, they explore the globe for the latest trends, attend various trade shows throughout NYC and Vegas and enjoy a variety of personal adventures, hand in hand.
When Melissa isn’t designing the perfect piece, Melissa enjoys travel, fashion, art, and exploring architecture in her free time.
